About Us

Air Century is a Dominican airline founded in 1992 by current CEO and former Captain Pilot Omar Chahin, based in the international airport Dr. Joaquín Balaguer La Isabela (JBQ), in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

In our beginnings we offered excursion services and aerial advertising. As we grew and diversified the fleet of aircraft, we began offering private charter flights, adding corporate aviation services and crew transfers, reaching in the latter a 90% market share in the Caribbean region. We then developed regular domestic routes such as Santo Domingo to Punta Cana, Barahona, Santiago and Puerto Plata. We currently offer regular services to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Aruba, Curaçao and Cuba.

High standards of punctuality and organized and controlled operational logistics are expertly practiced to carry out all our flights successfully. These have undoubtedly been important factors for our company to have remained for over 28 years in the aviation market of the Dominican Republic.
